Dr. Abdul Odemuyiwa
Dr. Ode was born into a medical family. His father was a general practitioner and mother a midwife. Together, they delivered several children in their neighborhood and took care of them from the cradle to the grave. Dr. Ode’s brother is a Cardiologist in the U.K. and medicine comes naturally.
Dr. Ode is committed to assisting patients who care about their own health. He is passionate about physicians communicating with patients in a language they understand. Each patient is educated about his condition and exactly why tests were ordered or a certain medication prescribed.
Office visits are a dialogue and not just full of instructions. Dr. Ode is always willing to hear the patients point of view. Dr. Ode has also authored a medical self-help book. He believes in taking care of people like he wants to be cared for. After all, aren’t we all patients now or sometime later?
We welcome patients that see other doctors and want a second opinion, just as we encourage our patients to seek second opinions. After all, no one has a monopoly of knowledge.
